Background: My name is Nina Schwitters, Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and Trainer living in Celebration, Florida. In June 2014, I completed my 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher certification with world renown Master Teacher, Rolf Gates in Cambridge, MA. My vinyasa yoga journey started sixteen years ago, when a friend invited me to try a hot power yoga class. I was hooked on the energy surge throughout my body and calming effect on my mind. I would be honored to be your guide in finding new flexibility, strength and balance.
My Style: Traditional Vinyasa Yoga which will include a combination of meditation and flow sequencing. My sessions include a series of Sun and Moon Salutations (Surya Namaskar) with postures that will warm, strengthen, and align the entire body. We will challenge your balance starting with the core movement into the Warrior Series and Tree. With gentle, caring direction the journey in and out of the postures will ignite your kinetic energy.
Class Goal: By the end of the session, your body will feel amazing like eating your favorite candy, just sensational. Movement and Breath. Creating an experience that will keep your body SAFE with movement that opens your superficial front line, front line, side line, and back line. We will move from simple to complex asanas(postures) with an emphasis on multi-joint movement and repetitive poses.
Additional Yoga Training: In February 2018, “PTSD-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: Resiliency & Healing with Yoga, “ completed @ Sedona Yoga Festival in Sedona, Arizona. In 2016, Completed “Baptiste Methodology, Asana Flow, and Studies.” Completed Baptiste Master series, “The Art of True North Alignment.”
Education & Experience: Nina earned her EMBA, Executive Master of Business Administration and BA from Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA. She is a proud graduate of the Wharton School of Business Leadership & Development Program. Nina has worked in Finance, Retirement Consulting and the Insurance Industry for 35 years in Marketing, Training, Sales, Consulting and Operation Management.
